The Rock Church - Livingston, Wisconsin - 1851

Annual Meeting - Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 PM

This historic Rock Church, constructed in 1851, holds the distinction of being the oldest church building in Grant County. Preserved as a tangible memory of a bygone era, the church stands several miles west of Livingston, situated just off County Highway E in Clifton Township.

The Rock Church Memorial Society. . .

Was established to preserve and celebrate the historical significance of the Rock Church. This organization is dedicated to ensuring the building’s structural integrity and honoring the essential role it has played in the community of southwest Wisconsin.


 The Mission of the Rock Church Memorial Society
The Rock Church of rural Livingston, Wisconsin has stood since 1851 as a community icon, that has seen family celebrations and tragedies for more than seven (7) generations. 
It is the mission of the Rock Church Memorial Society, Inc. to obtain the financial support required to maintain the historical significance and improve this community asset for many more generations into the future.
